There’s a shade tree at North and Main. . .

Hmmm. . . what to say, what to say. . . Well, I’m  a teacher-mom-wife-runner (stopping frequently)-bona fide Jesus freak (heavy emphasis on the freak) who periodically finds great satisfaction ticking away on her computer and happily clicking that most wonderful of buttons—publish! Last year while I was training for a marathon (there was no shortage of madness in this particular endeavor–long story), I discovered there was a gigantic shade tree at the intersection of North and Main Streets on my regular route. There’s also a sprinkler system which is convenient when you’re doing something CRAZY like training for a marathon in August. Hence, the title of my little blog. I find that North and Main is an excellent place to stop, take a quick look over my shoulder at where I’ve been, gather a little insight, and then press on. The good Rev, Mr. Beasley, and I moved to Arkansas a few years back to plant a church. It’s. An. Adventure. Thank you for checking in!

My first TNT event in Savannah, Georgia, 2011. I ran a 1/2 marathon.
