Eden: a sex slave’s story

As much as we see references to modern slavery in the news or on social media, we are still so ridiculously undereducated about what is happening under our noses. I’m angry. Now I want to know–what IS the answer? What’s my role? Give me something tangible to do besides draw a red X on my hand.

  1. You should talk to Jana about this.   I asked her about her work with the prostitutes and young girls who might be trafficked right here in Ft. Worth.   She said all her clients are older, all addicts.   The young ones are hidden by their owners or johns or whatever arrangement they have.   It is unbelieveable that she was taken as a college student in Dallas.    I usually think of these poor children as runaway teens.   Jana says that the corruption in the area of prostitution in FW is at very high levels.   It would be interesting to be a fly on the wall at the Sheraton hotel downtown.   She says that’s where the prostitutes are more professional and may be working on their own, servicing our elite judges, businessmen and visitors to the various conventions in that area of town.   It sickens me to think that this goes on right under our noses.   And it is allowed to continue by corrupt politicians, judges, etc.  They have to know that this kind of trafficking is going on and are doing nothing to stop it.  Sounds like from the movie that they are on the take with the traffickers as well.  No wonder our American way of life is being undermined and Biblical Christianity is being removed as the norm, the basis of our society…it condemns all of this….corruption for money….The love of money is the root of all evil(am I quoting that correctly?)   And it runs from the top to the bottom of our society.   I am reading a book now on my Kindle about the Secret Service and the presidents of the US since Kennedy.   You wouldn’t believe the sexual preadtors we have elected to the highest office in the land…and the women who love men in power who play the game for what they can get from them….
